Hosted by Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. (HCCCI), this program, running from June 4 to June 28, 2024, brings together students and faculty from higher institutions across the Philippines and Venezuela for a unique educational and cultural exchange.

Participating institutions include San Pedro College-Davao, Central Mindanao College-Kidapawan City, Negros Oriental State University, and Universidad Catรณlica Andrรฉs Bello from Venezuela. This collaboration is spearheaded by HCCCI, with the aim of fostering cultural immersion and exchange, while also producing a free and sustainable technology-aided educational tool as a final project through a shared virtual library hosted on Google Sites.

The program features an impressive roster of participants, including 35 students from HCCCI, 23 from SAN PEDRO COLLEGE-Davao, 80 from Universidad Catรณlica Andrรฉs Bello, 15 from Central Mindanao Colleges-Official-Kidapawan City, and 15 from Negros Oriental State University. The diverse group gathered virtually today, diving into breakout rooms to get acquainted and lay the groundwork for their collaborative projects.

ED TECH FUSION aligns with HCCCIโ€™s vision of being a leading provider of globally competitive professionals and its mission to nurture technologically advanced individuals. This initiative also supports the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, specifically SDG 4: Quality Education, and SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure.

During this kick-off event, participants were welcomed and oriented on the objectives of the program. The general goals are clear: to facilitate cultural immersion and exchange and to culminate in the creation of an educational technology tool utilizing the virtual library.

HCCCIโ€™s Innovation Laboratory (iLAB) is now fully engaged, providing students with state-of-the-art resources and support as they embark on this collaborative journey. The institution is proud to host such a transformative event, underscoring its commitment to enhancing the quality of education through international cooperation and technological innovation.

As ED TECH FUSION progresses over the next few weeks, students and faculty from both nations will engage in various activities designed to deepen their understanding of each other's cultures and educational practices. This initiative promises not only to enhance their academic and professional skills but also to build lasting connections across borders.

Stay tuned for more updates on the progress and outcomes of ED TECH FUSION: Philippines and Venezuela Connect as we move forward with this groundbreaking educational endeavor.
