A. Modernizing Church Services

Graduating BS IT students from Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. have recently demonstrated their remarkable technological innovations, earning commendations for their practical and creative solutions. Among the highlighted projects was the “Modernizing Church Services: Advancing Online Scheduling System at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish,” which received glowing feedback from Shiela May Capurihan, the Parish Secretary. "Nami ila proposal po. Easy transaction, useful, and convenient siya. Also, creative man kag attentive sila," she praised.

Under the mentorship of Ms. Marivic O. Baldon, MIT, the Computer Studies Program Head, students Ivy Joy Quencia, Irene Joy Batiller, Charie Jade Dono, Alma Reyjohn Amil, and Jethro Jay Aleligay presented their system during a successful testing and deployment event. The system aims to streamline and enhance church services through a user-friendly online scheduling platform. The event was further enriched by the presence of Mr. Jerwin Bueson and Mr. Reyan F. Antiquin from Classify, Inc., who provided valuable feedback and suggestions for improvement.

B. Enhancing Security with RFID Technology

Another significant project presented was the “RFID Sentry: Strengthening School Security with The Real-Time Guard Monitoring System” by Ken Talacero, Arnel Christian Vergara, Cyron Dave Silva, and Racine Jean Esgrina. Their system, tested at Notre Dame of Surallah, Inc., is designed to bolster school security through real-time monitoring using RFID technology. Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. remains dedicated to fostering excellence and producing highly competent graduates. The institution showcased a variety of innovative projects from its BS IT students, highlighting their technical prowess and creative problem-solving skills.

C. Commitment to Excellence

One notable project is the “Meditrack: Customer’s Billing with Barcode Scanner and Product Monitoring System of M&V Pharmacy, Surallah South Cotabato,” developed by Justine Valencia, John Carlo Barro, Sheizel Rendon, and Roly John Llanes. This system aims to streamline billing processes and improve product monitoring efficiency. Another project, “Web-based Information System: Bridging the Gap, Improving the Community Based Tourism Information in Lake Holon, Tboli, South Cotabato,” was developed by Alejandro Guanzon Jr., Kim Ryan Estanda, Johnny Nicopior, Noven Tuan, and Christian Jay Maylas. This system enhances tourism information accessibility and community engagement.

Jayzher Juaniza, Xyryl John Cabinbin, Lyrgriz Delos Santos, Lester John Marquez, and Gabriel Flores worked on the “Web-Based: Employees Task Planner Information with Collaborative System of Hi-Temp Industrial Trading And Allied Services,” aiming to optimize task management and collaboration within the company. The “Web-Based: Integrated Booking with SMS Notification of Ace Aize Car Rental, Surallah,” created by Burliegn Earl Ponce, Alondra Macaraeg, Rufa Mae Cedeno, Romel Maravilla, and Danny Ybanez, focuses on improving the car rental booking process with integrated SMS notifications.

“The Eventsphere: Creating Memorable School Experiences for Holy Child Central Colleges Inc. Through an Event Management System” by Froilan Benosa, Hilary Joy Baconua, Kristian Salario, and Demetrio Barrieta III aims to enhance school events management and student engagement. Mark Forteza, Eric Malala, Cristine Joy Sablon, and Sheryl Mae Pugoy developed the “Banahaw Heals Spa Koronadal Branch Billing System with Employees Income Monitoring,” a system designed to streamline billing and monitor employee income effectively. The “Mobile Application: Tolento Pension House Food Ordering System” by Jaymark Tomayao, John Denzel Tomayao, Loren Diongal, and Sheila Mae Congcong focuses on improving the food ordering process for a more seamless customer experience. Lastly, the “Tutees Attendance Monitoring System Using RFID with SMS of Possible Tutorial Drop-in-Center” by Billy Joe Yonzon, Karren Joy Tu-an, Michelle Cabaya, and Cynthia Arca aims to enhance attendance monitoring through RFID technology and SMS notifications.

D. A Promising Future

The successful deployment and testing of these systems underscore the students' ability to translate theoretical knowledge into practical applications.
