As part of its month-long celebration of ASEAN's 55th Founding Anniversary, the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office XII, led by Regional Director Dr. Nelia A. Alibin, launches the 𝑨𝑺𝑬𝑨𝑵 𝑬𝑿𝑷𝑶 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟐. There were renowned higher education institutions (HEI's) including State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) and private HEIs coming from all around Region XII. It is evident that the torches of these HEI's are blazing with a heart of fire as they march towards opening their university walls to the partnered countries in pursuit of executing a globally accessible and borderless education for all.

The said event started with an ASEAN 2022 Expo on September 20, wherein all participants were able to showcase the various initiatives and programs of their institution with the theme "ASEAN ACT: Addressing Challenges Together." On the next day, the faculty and staff of HCCCI also attended the "Research Presentation" contest, where they were inspired by the 10 presenters from the different HEIs. On the last day, Awarding and Closing Program of the successful event was held at the same venue.

The three-day activity illuminated the venue with vivid hues that symbolized the distinct aura of culture, arts, music, and intellect on display. By sending its best team to work with other organizations on staging of the said event, the Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. (HCCCI), which also shares the same goal of producing globally competitive individuals, offers its unwavering support to the effort towards globalization and equality for all in education. With the unwavering support of the Executive Vice President, Vanessa Marie L. Antiquin, the creative minds of John Lucas Frac, and the endeavored members of the team of Judith B. Dacutanan, the CHED Region XII truly extends their warmest appreciation for the significant contribution of HCCCI in making the said event a successful one

With the coming years to come, the ASEAN community will hope to emerge in a stronger form and phase of unbridled success, with the dream still glinting to its last beacon of light, and a vision of inclusive education is no longer just a dream, where the void in differences is to be filled with transparency and open-mindedness, and the countries' barricades finally begin to collapse; for with its dust we begin to see the silver-gleaming of a peaceful gateway where knowledge, life, and arts are all encompassing. Only time will tell until we ask ourselves the question—are we going to be the guest or the host of this new world of dreams?
