On May 19, 2023, the College of Criminal Justice Education, Criminology Department at Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. organized a memorable event to honor their graduating batch of interns. The Intern Recognition, Donning of Ranks and Acceptance Ceremony took place at Fortune Field Resort, Banga, South Cotabato, marking an important milestone in the lives of the students from Class Batman 01 2023.

The ceremony opened with a warm welcome message delivered by Dr. Jovita J. Felongco, the esteemed Academic Director of the institution. Dr. Felongco expressed her pride and congratulated the students for their hard work and dedication throughout their internship period.

Distinguished guests graced the event, including notable law enforcement officials and esteemed professionals from the field. Among them were PCAPT Junel Rey Silvoza Gatera, Deputy Chief of Police from the Surallah Municipal Police Station; SINSP Vilma P. Ramirez, Municipal Fire Marshall from the Surallah Municipal Fire Station; JINSP Salustiano C. Portuza Jr., Assistant Jail Warden from the Koronadal City District Jail; and Atty. Noel G. Morales, Acting Regional Director from the NBI-CEMRO 12

The event was made even more special with the presence of proud parents and guardians who gathered to witness this significant milestone in their children's lives. The support and encouragement of the parents or guardians played a vital role in the interns' journey toward achieving their goals.

The President's Message was then delivered by the Executive Vice President, Vanessa Marie L. Antiquin. Antiquin praised the interns for their exceptional performance and emphasized the importance of their role in upholding justice and maintaining peace in society.

The event also saw the presence of key figures from Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc., including Valmechiel E. Salmorin, RCrim, MSCrim, the Program Head of the Criminology Department, and Aljan B. Dapitan, the Intern Coordinator. Faculty members and staff of the institution also attended the ceremony to extend their support and recognition to the interns.

The highlight of the event was the recognition and donning of ranks for the graduating interns. Each intern received their well-deserved rank and accepted the responsibilities that came with it. The ceremony symbolized their official entry into the world of law enforcement and criminal justice.
