Today, November 8, 2024, Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. proudly grows new “𝗥𝗢𝗢𝗧𝗦” a Collaborative Online International Learning with the 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗶𝗶 𝗮𝘁 𝗛𝗶𝗹𝗼. This milestone partnership, themed "𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙊𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙨, 𝙊𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙤𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙤𝙬’𝙨 𝙎𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮," marks an exciting chapter of international collaboration and cross-cultural learning.
This COIL initiative centers on the 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙎𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙂𝙤𝙖𝙡𝙨 (𝙐𝙉𝙎𝘿𝙂𝙨) and aligns them with business strategies that honor the unique cultural heritages of the Hawaiian culture and the indigenous tribes from Surallah, Lake Sebu, and Tboli, South Cotabato. With the support of our iLab and the newest smart classroom, we are enhancing the virtual exchange experience, bringing the world into our campus like never before!
Leading today’s session were our dedicated Business Studies program head, Neressa M. Montejo, MBA, CHRA, CFMP, along with COIL Professors Mr. Eric Gatmaitan and Marvin Jay T. Blase, LPT, and esteemed guest, Ms. Naty Shazel Peña, who shared her rich experiences relevant to the course to inspire the students. The kick-off ceremony was also co-hosted by Mr. Kelly Moran and Ms. Jenna Feng from the University of Hawaii at Hilo. Today’s session began with heartfelt and enthusiastic introductions.
The Business Studies COIL Team emphasized the value of cross-cultural education and how shared norms, traditions, and values can be woven into business planning.
