Embracing Growth: The Enriching Journey of HCCCI Talents at the BIGKIS Conference
We are proud to recognize the resilient talents of Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. students who represented Region 12 at the BIGKIS: 1st Philippines Higher Education Conference on Indigenous Peoples Education at Bukidnon State University. This event, initiated by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), focuses on integrating Indigenous Peoples' knowledge within academic settings.
Our students participated in three categories: Most Innovative HEI in Promoting Indigenous Peoples Education, Creative Contemporary Dance, and Solo Vocal Performance. Their dedication and performances showcased their skills and reflected the hard work and support from HCCCI.
Under the guidance of our coaches—Hanz Cydeil Fernandez for Creative Contemporary Dance, John Lucas Frac for Solo Vocal Performance, and Alan Filoteo, the Director of the video for Most Innovative HEI in Promoting Indigenous Peoples Education — our students embraced the opportunity to showcase their talents.
This success was made possible by the unwavering support of our school, led by Marivet S. Caballero, School President; Nathaniel Caballero, Chairman of the Board of HCCCI; and Vanessa Marie L. Antiquin, Executive Vice President. Their leadership has been instrumental in promoting Indigenous Peoples' education and providing our students with opportunities to excel.
We extend our gratitude to Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and Bukidnon State University (BukSU) for this invaluable platform. Congratulations to our HCCCI students for their dedication and commitment. We look forward to continuing our journey of integrating Indigenous knowledge into our curriculum and celebrating our cultural heritage.
