First Batch of HALI Trainees Completes 5-Day Certificate Program, Some Secure Job Offers with VXI
The HCCCI Adult Learning Institute (HALI), in partnership with VXI Philippines, recently celebrated a major milestone as the first batch of trainees successfully completed the 5-Day Contact Center Services Certificate Training Program. This achievement reflects HALI’s ongoing mission to provide accessible, skills-based education for adult learners in Surallah and surrounding communities, particularly those who may not have had formal employment opportunities.
The training program was carefully designed to equip participants with essential skills for the BPO industry, including effective communication, customer service excellence, and professional workplace conduct. Beyond skill development, the program offered direct pathways to employment, with several graduates already qualifying for job offer signings with VXI Philippines. This outcome highlights HALI’s holistic approach: combining education, certification, and immediate employment opportunities to empower adult learners.

Offered free of charge to eligible participants and held at HCCCI’s main campus in Surallah, the program removes financial barriers and ensures that motivated adults can enhance their employability. By doing so, HALI advances Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 – Quality Education, by promoting inclusive and equitable lifelong learning opportunities for all.
Furthermore, by connecting graduates to meaningful employment in the BPO industry, HALI directly supports SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth, fostering sustained, inclusive, and productive employment. The program also contributes to SDG 1 – No Poverty, as adults who gain new skills and employment can improve their livelihoods and that of their families, strengthening the local community.
With the success of Batch 1, HALI plans to continue the program with additional batches, opening doors for more individuals seeking to build a career in the contact center industry. By integrating accredited competencies, practical training, and industry partnerships, HALI demonstrates its commitment to transforming adult learning into opportunities for personal empowerment, economic advancement, and sustainable community growth.
HALI’s work exemplifies how targeted education programs can bridge the gap between learning and employment, creating meaningful change in the lives of adult learners while contributing to the broader goals of sustainable development.
