FOSRA 2024: Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. Joins Forces at Le Pavillon to Emphasize Internationalization’s Role in Higher Education

The 𝑭𝒆𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍 𝑹𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒓𝒔 𝑨𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 (𝑭𝑶𝑺𝑹𝑨), in coordination with the 𝑵𝑪𝑹 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍 𝑹𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒓𝒔’ 𝑨𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 (𝑵𝑨𝑪𝑺𝑹𝑨), welcomed Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. to its 16th General Assembly held on November 14-15, 2024, at Le Pavillon, Events Hotel, Pasay City.
With the theme “𝘙𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘙𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘕𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘨𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘭𝘰𝘣𝘢𝘭 𝘐𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘻𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘏𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘌𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘐𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴,” the event emphasized the growing importance of internationalization in shaping policies and strategies in higher education.
Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. was represented by the school’s Executive Vice President, Vanessa Marie L. Antiquin, Registrar, Charmae V. Escaniel, and International Relations Officer, Jack Robin A. Lacerna.
Internationalization, as highlighted during the assembly, is not limited to welcoming students from abroad but focuses on creating a global educational experience. Atty. Lily Freida C. Macabangun-Milla, CESO IV, one of the keynote speaker, emphasized the program’s importance in fostering digitalized education, where students can earn micro-credentials such as digital badges that align with future workforce demands. These initiatives equip students with competitive advantages, supporting their career readiness.
The assembly also highlighted how registrars and internationalization officers are pivotal in navigating the complexities of global education. By shaping adaptable and inclusive institutional frameworks, they ensure that higher education institutions remain resilient and innovative in an increasingly interconnected world.
