Grade 12 Students Gear Up for Work Immersion with Pre-Immersion Seminar

𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝟏𝟐 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐆𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐔𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐈𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐫𝐞-𝐈𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫

The Basic Education Department hosted a 𝗣𝗿𝗲-𝗜𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 to prepare our 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝟭𝟮 students for their upcoming 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗜𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺. The event featured expert speakers who shared valuable insights on workplace skills, professionalism, and career readiness.

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿:

✅𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗜𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 – Esther Charity G. Barrientos-Ayroso kicked off the event with an overview of the program, setting expectations and highlighting its importance.

✅ 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗼’𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁𝘀 – 𝗔𝘆𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗼 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀, 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱 – Ayroso also covered workplace rights, responsibilities, confidentiality, and essential job interview tips.

✅ 𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 – Prof. Jun Yang Badie, LPT, PhD, led hands-on workshops on resume and cover letter writing to help students create strong job applications.

✅ 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗺 & 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 – Prof. Badie returned to discuss work ethics, handling conflicts, and building strong teamwork skills in the workplace.

✅ 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 & 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 – Vanessa Marie L. Antiquin, MMEM, HCCCI’s Executive Vice President wrapped up the seminar with a career talk, helping students explore different career paths and plan for their futures.

This seminar was a 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 that equipped our Grade 12 students with the knowledge and confidence to step into the professional world.
