Criminology students of Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. rendered honor service during the 62nd Parochial Fiesta in Honor of Our Lady of Lourdes, a public religious celebration held on February 02, 2026, at the Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Surallah, South Cotabato. The honor guards were composed of Cesar Azuelo (Color Commander), Jhona Paula Eribal (Rifleman), Mark Q. Fajardo (Philippine Flag), Justine Guevarra (Flag), and John Lloyd Savares (Rifleman), under the supervision of Kaye P. Escober, RCrim.


The parochial fiesta is a long-standing annual celebration dedicated to Our Lady of Lourdes, symbolizing faith, devotion, and unity among parishioners and the wider community. It highlights the importance of reverence, discipline, and respect in religious and cultural gatherings.


This article features the Criminology students of Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. who were entrusted with ceremonial responsibilities. Their participation demonstrated professionalism, proper bearing, and a strong sense of duty in representing both their institution and their field of study.


The program emphasized service, discipline, and coordinated action as essential values in community engagement. Through their honor service, the students upheld the dignity of the celebration and ensured the orderly conduct of ceremonial proceedings.


The activity aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
