HCCCI inks MOU with MCC
Mabalacat City, June 8, 2023 ׀ A momentous Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Reading and Signing Ceremony took place today at Mabalacat City College, marking the beginning of a significant collaboration in the field of education. Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. and Mabalacat City College have joined hands to establish a collaborative partnership for the implementation of Collaborative International Online Learning (COIL) programs.
The key individuals who participated in the ceremony were Michelle A. Ong, President of Mabalacat City College, and representatives from Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc., including Marivet S. Caballero, President; Vanessa Marie L. Antiquin, Executive Vice President; and Gayle Grace S. Electores, MS, Director for External Affairs and Linkages.
The main objective of the MOU signing ceremony was to formalize the commitment and partnership between the two educational institutions. The collaboration will pave the way for the implementation of COIL programs, which focus on integrating international and cross-cultural perspectives into online courses. Through this partnership, students from Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. and Mabalacat City College will have the opportunity to engage in virtual collaborative projects with students from partner institutions across the globe.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of distinguished guests and members of the academic community. Notably, the program received valuable support from Atty. Lily Freida M. Milla, CESO IV Deputy Executive Director, Director III of the Commission on Higher Education - International Affairs Staff (CHED-IAS). Her involvement, along with the support of CHED Chairman J. Prospero "Popoy" E. De Vera III, is crucial in realizing the full potential of COIL programs in the partnering institutions.
The signing of the MOU signifies a new chapter of cooperation and exchange between Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. and Mabalacat City College.
