HCCCI Strikes Gold at the 35th National Statistics Month Competition

Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. (HCCCI) triumphed at the 35th National Statistics Month, seizing the gold in the provincial poster-making competition hosted by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) South Cotabato Provincial Statistical Office. With this year’s theme, “Advancing Data and Statistics Through Digital Transformation: A Road to an Empowered Nation,” the competition took place on October 23, 2024, at KCC Mall of Marbel.

HCCCI's very own Prince Nathaniel F. Velasco, a senior from ABM 12, took center stage with his stunning visual portrayal of the theme, earning him the gold medal. His winning piece was the result of collaborative guidance from his coach, Mr. Jerick Castillo, and the creative support of Mr. Patrick D. Templonuevo.

In the essay writing contest, HCCCI was equally well-represented by Shaine Ryzel Q. Garcia of ABM 12, further showcasing the school’s commitment to engaging students in the importance of statistics.

This annual competition, which aims to promote a deeper appreciation of statistics, inspired participants to think creatively about data’s vital role in shaping society. Through their work, HCCCI’s participants not only celebrated statistics but also demonstrated its transformative power in the digital age.
