HCCCI Student Leaders Join the Local Children’s Month Celebration in Surallah
In a vibrant display of youth leadership and advocacy, our Basic Education student leaders proudly participated in this year’s 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 held at the Municipal Gymnasium of Surallah. Organized by the 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 (𝗠𝗖𝗣𝗖), the event carried the theme “𝘉𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘬 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘷𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦, 𝘌𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘝𝘪𝘰𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦: 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘯, 𝘊𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘚𝘢𝘧𝘦 𝘗𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴”, emphasizing the shared responsibility of building a safe and nurturing environment for every child.
HCCCI’s delegation included 𝟭𝟴 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, along with representatives who previously joined the Boys’ and Girls’ Week last May 2024. These young leaders enthusiastically engaged in the day’s meaningful activities, which aimed to raise awareness about the importance of child protection and rights, inspiring them to become advocates for their peers and their community.
The event also highlighted the delivery of the 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗔𝗱𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 (𝗦𝗢𝗖𝗔) by Hon. Pedro M. Matinong Jr., Municipal Mayor and MCPC Chairman, reinforcing the municipality’s commitment to empowering and safeguarding children.
We are immensely proud of our student leaders for actively representing Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. (HCCCI) and for embodying the values of advocacy and community leadership. Events like these remind us that the voices of the youth play a crucial role in shaping a brighter and safer future for all.
