HCCCI's 21st Commencement: Triumph Through Adversity and Pursuit of Excellence
Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. proudly celebrated its 21st Commencement Exercises on July 31, 2024, at the Surallah Municipal Gymnasium. The ceremony, under the theme "HCCCI Elevating Excellence: Brilliance in Adversity," marked a significant milestone for the 418 graduates who have demonstrated resilience and dedication in their academic pursuits.
Marvin S. Alagbay, MBA, LPT, CHRA, Administrative Officer III and Records Officer II at the Commission on Higher Education, RO12, delivered the commencement address, emphasizing patience, persistence, and adaptability in the job market. He encouraged graduates to balance work and personal life and to embody resilience and gratitude through the five letters of HCCCI: Have faith, Cultivate resilience, Create change, Celebrate achievements, and Instill gratitude.
The ceremony continued with the presentation of the 418 candidates for graduation by Dr. Jovita J. Felongco, Academic Director. The conferment of degrees and awarding of diplomas were conducted by Nathaniel C. Caballero, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, who was assisted by Vanessa Marie L. Antiquin, MMEM, Executive Vice President; Dr. Jovita J. Felongco, Academic Director; and Charmae V. Escaniel, College Registrar.
Adding to the significance of the event, Surallah's Hon. Vice Mayor Antonio O. Bendita graced the occasion to award the leadership awards from his office, recognizing outstanding student leaders for their contributions and dedication.
The event was a momentous occasion for the graduates, faculty, and families, celebrating the culmination of years of hard work and dedication. The HCCCI community extends its heartfelt congratulations to the Class of 2024, wishing them continued success and brilliance in their future endeavors.
