Interns Retrieval Program (BECED)

Interns Retrieval Program of the HCCCI’s Bachelor of Early Childhood Education Pre-service teachers was successfully held at Surallah Central Elementary School last October 04, 2022, with its theme: “Teachers: Leading in Crisis, Reimagining the Future”. The said program served as the culminating event of the internship, which the Pre-service teachers had successfully completed. There was a total of 63 Pre-service teachers that were deployed at SCES to gain real-life experiences to the actual teaching and learning setting. Present during the event were HCCCI’s Academic Director, Dr. Jovita J. Felongco; Director for External Affairs and Linkages, Gayle Grace S. Electores; College Dean, Ma. Eloisa P. Española; BECEd Program Head, Teresa S. Limson; BECEd Faculty, Rebelin Sanguinza and Melona Barrientos; Quality Assurance Officer, Mariel G. Zamora; and Information Officer, Donna Claire L. Dili. The program was filled with messages from the student-teacher representatives per grade level who expressed their gratitude and appreciation to all their cooperating teachers, who were all supportive and had really guided them as they indulged themselves in face-to-face classes. Meaningful response messages were also given by each grade level Coordinators that will be cherished and treasured by the interns. This entire experience of internship would not have been possible without the full support of SCES’ Principal, Petronilo B. Reyes Jr., and Assistant Principal, Rexes T. Tapiculin. HCCCI would like to express its appreciation to Surallah Central Elementary School for accepting and welcoming the abovementioned interns. The real-life experiences of the student-teachers at SCES will greatly help them in their journey to becoming future educators. Moreover, Dr. Felongco, during her message said, “Learning is for life and Life is for learning” that inspired all the interns to never stop learning. She even added that they should not give up on their dreams and pursue them to be the best that they can be. These 63 pre-service teachers from BECEd will be reaping the fruits of their sacrifices, hard work, and perseverance as they will be graduating tomorrow, October 7. May it be the beginning of many more wonderful achievements in their lives and become the pride of this institution.
