On January 21, 2025, the Brgy. Tubi-Ala Gym in Surallah, South Cotabato—recognized as the first barangay for this program—buzzed with excitement as the 𝗞𝗮𝗺𝗽 𝗕𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁 program, an inspiring flagship program by the 𝗟𝗚𝗨 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗵, 𝗠𝗦𝗪𝗗𝗢, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀, brought together young learners under the 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗘𝗖𝗖𝗗) program of Barangay Tubi-Ala.

The highlight of the event was an engaging reading session led by a dedicated Child Development Worker, with active participation from parents. This interactive activity not only fostered a love for reading but also created a meaningful and enriching experience for the children.

Adding to the event's success were the 𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗣-𝗖𝗪𝗧𝗦 students from Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc., who actively participated as volunteers. This heartwarming event was further elevated via backline support of the 𝗟𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻, who generously donated books curated under the supervision and custodianship of HCCCI Library, and the Book Nook - HCCCI - Surallah. These invaluable materials sparked curiosity and inspired the imagination of the young participants, leaving a profound impact on their learning journey.

HCCCI is immensely grateful to be part of this community service through the power of partnerships with external and ever-supportive allies like the Lions Club of Singapore Paterson. Their unwavering dedication to supporting young minds in ways both big and small continues to make a difference. Their generosity and commitment to community enrichment remind us of the power of collaboration in creating brighter futures. Through this simple yet transformative community extension program, the children and the entire local community have been touched by the gift of learning, imagination, and hope.
