Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. (HCCCI) reaffirmed its commitment to excellence in nursing education as the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) conducted its monitoring of the institution's Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program on July 28, 2026, at the HCCCI Nursing Complex. The activity assessed the implementation of the program and the institution's compliance with the commitments and requirements stipulated in its approved application.

The monitoring concluded with a positive assessment, with CHED confirming that all monitored areas were fully complied with by the HCCCI Nursing Program. The outcome affirms the institution's adherence to established standards for nursing education and reflects its sustained commitment to academic quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous institutional improvement.

The CHED monitoring team was led by Dr. Zohrahaydah N. Panawidan, Chief Education Program Specialist; Dr. Annabelle R. Dafielmoto, Supervising Education Program Specialist; and Dr. Genaro Andres, Education Supervisor II. Representing HCCCI were Ninfa L. Galendez, Dean of Nursing; Christine V. Parcon, Nancy A. Sintin, and Mayflor B. Silva, Clinical Instructors; Fernando V. Galendez, Laboratory In-charge; Blessy Faith C. Lagrana, Laboratory Assistant; and Rose Bayot, Head Librarian. The monitoring was further supported by Compliance Officers Liza E. Losaria and Demetrio Galla, together with representatives from the Quality Assurance Department, Vince Karl Otic and Jules Castaรฑasas.

Throughout the evaluation, CHED reviewed the implementation of the BSN Program across key areas, including curriculum delivery, faculty support, laboratory facilities, learning resources, library services, and institutional systems that sustain the quality of nursing education. The successful assessment demonstrated HCCCI's readiness to provide a learning environment that meets national standards while supporting the academic and professional development of future nurses.

For HCCCI, the result reflects more than regulatory compliance. It embodies the institution's culture of quality assurance, accountability, and continuous enhancement. The achievement highlights the collaborative efforts of the Nursing Department and its support units in ensuring that students receive education grounded in academic excellence, practical competence, ethical practice, and compassionate service.

As the healthcare sector continues to evolve, HCCCI remains committed to preparing nurses who are equipped with the knowledge, clinical skills, and values needed to serve communities with professionalism and integrity. By continuously strengthening its academic programs and institutional systems, the institution contributes to the development of competent healthcare professionals capable of addressing the health needs of South Cotabato and beyond.

The successful CHED monitoring advances the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being, through the preparation of competent and compassionate future healthcare professionals; SDG 4: Quality Education, through the delivery of standards-based and learner-centered nursing education; SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, through the institution's commitment to accountability, quality assurance, and compliance with national higher education standards; and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, through continued collaboration with CHED in strengthening the quality and sustainability of nursing education.

The positive assessment affirms HCCCI's continuing commitment to developing globally competent, compassionate, and service-oriented nursing professionals while strengthening the institution's contribution to quality healthcare and sustainable community development.
