Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. Hosts Successful 'Research Impact 24' Seminar, Featuring Prof. Dr. Abdul Razak Abdul Hadi from University Kuala Lumpur Business School

Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. (HCCCI) successfully concluded “Research Impact 24,” a two-day seminar and workshop held on December 2–3, 2024, featuring the distinguished Prof. Dr. Abdul Razak Abdul Hadi from the University Kuala Lumpur Business School (UniKL Business School), Malaysia.

With the theme “Transforming Data into Knowledge: Harnessing SAS Analytics for Academic and Business Excellence,” the event brought together HCCCI faculty, researchers, and students in person, while also welcoming participants from nearby schools and the general public through a live Zoom conference. This hybrid format allowed wider access, enabling learners beyond the campus to gain valuable insights in research, data analytics, and evidence-based decision-making.

Held at HCCCI’s state-of-the-art Smart Classroom, the seminar provided a dynamic learning environment combining lectures, hands-on workshops, and interactive discussions. Prof. Dr. Abdul Hadi shared his expertise on the strategic application of analytics in research and business, demonstrating how data-driven approaches can improve academic outcomes, enhance organizational decision-making, and foster innovation across multiple sectors.

Participants explored advanced concepts such as data visualization, predictive analytics, and research modeling. Collaborative exercises helped bridge academic theories with practical applications, equipping attendees with skills that are directly transferable to real-world challenges in education, governance, and industry. The hybrid format also encouraged cross-institutional collaboration, as students and educators from nearby schools actively participated in discussions and exercises, fostering a broader culture of learning and inquiry.

The event’s benefits extended beyond technical skills. By engaging a diverse group of learners, “Research Impact 24” strengthened community partnerships, encouraged lifelong learning, and inspired participants to adopt critical thinking and evidence-based approaches in their academic and professional pursuits. The open-access format ensured that knowledge was not limited to enrolled students, reflecting HCCCI’s commitment to inclusivity and its role as a hub for educational advancement in the region.

Aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), the initiative underscores HCCCI’s dedication to advancing research capabilities, technological literacy, and sustainable development through education, international collaboration, and public engagement.

HCCCI extends its sincere gratitude to Prof. Dr. Abdul Razak Abdul Hadi, all faculty, students, and participants who joined in person or via Zoom. “Research Impact 24” marks another milestone in HCCCI’s mission to empower Filipino scholars, educators, and community members with the knowledge and tools to make meaningful contributions in an increasingly data-driven world.
