Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. (HCCCI) brought energy and excitement to the campus during ComSoc Days 2026, a two-day celebration organized by the Computer Society on February 20–21, 2026, at the HCCCI main campus in Surallah, South Cotabato. The event gathered students, faculty members, and technology enthusiasts, with 178 student attendees on the first day and 154 on the second. The campus buzzed with enthusiasm as participants showcased their talents and cheered for their respective teams.
With the theme “Code, Connect, Create,” ComSoc Days 2026 went beyond friendly competition. It became a platform where students applied classroom learning, explored new ideas, and discovered their strengths in programming, design, gaming, and multimedia arts. The event fostered collaboration, creativity, and healthy competition, allowing students to grow both academically and personally.
Four teams brought color and excitement to the celebration: The Googlers, Syntax Energy Squad, Code Catalyst Crew, and Nexus Node Network. Guided by faculty advisers and supported by Computer Society officers, participants demonstrated not only technical expertise but also teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship throughout the two-day event.
The program opened with prayers, the Philippine National Anthem, and the HCCCI and Surallah Hymns, setting a meaningful tone for the celebration. The Yelling Competition and Mascot Showdown ignited team spirit, while academic contests such as Quiz Bowl, Logo Making, Web Design, Python Programming, and Java Programming highlighted students’ analytical and coding skills. Creative events including Digital Poster, Video Teaser, Infographics, and musical competitions showcased artistic expression. Gaming tournaments such as Mobile Legends, Magic Chess, and Call of Duty added excitement and strategic challenge to the lineup of activities.
More than just a school event, ComSoc Days 2026 reflects HCCCI’s commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By strengthening digital and technical competencies, the activity supports SDG 4 on Quality Education. By encouraging innovation and creative problem-solving, it contributes to SDG 9 on Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure. The inclusive participation of students from different year levels and backgrounds aligns with SDG 10 on Reduced Inequalities, while the strong collaboration among students and faculty embodies SDG 17 on Partnerships for the Goals.
Beyond the competitions, the event nurtured confidence, camaraderie, and a sense of belonging among students. The skills and experiences gained during ComSoc Days help prepare learners not only for future careers in technology but also for meaningful contributions to society.
Across the various competitions, teams demonstrated excellence in both technical and creative categories.
