Jacky E. Caro, a second-year Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Marketing Management student, represented Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. (HCCCI) at the international stage through her participation in the 4th UNISBA Global Student Motion (UGEO) 2026 at Universitas Islam Bandung (UNISBA), Indonesia, from August 24 to 29, 2026.

Caro joined students from different countries and academic backgrounds in an international program focused on academic exchange, collaborative learning, cultural immersion, and global engagement. Her participation provided an opportunity to represent HCCCI while gaining firsthand exposure to perspectives and experiences beyond her local academic environment.

Through academic discussions, collaborative activities, campus engagements, and cultural exchanges, Caro explored how business and marketing can be understood across different cultures and communities. The experience strengthened her communication, collaboration, adaptability, and intercultural competence—skills increasingly important for future professionals working in a global business environment. For a Marketing Management student, the experience offered learning that extended beyond textbooks and lectures. Interacting with participants from different cultural backgrounds allowed Caro to appreciate how culture, communication, consumer perspectives, and human connection influence the way businesses engage with their markets.

Beyond academics, UGEO 2026 became an opportunity for Caro to build confidence, broaden her worldview, and develop a stronger sense of global citizenship. Her experience in Indonesia demonstrated how international exposure can challenge students to become more open to new ideas and more prepared to work across cultural and professional boundaries. Her participation reflects HCCCI’s continuing efforts to connect academic preparation with meaningful international experiences, allowing students to develop global competencies while remaining grounded in their respective disciplines.

The experience supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, through experiential and international learning, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, through academic exchange and cross-cultural collaboration among institutions and learners. Through programs such as UGEO 2026, HCCCI continues to create pathways for students to learn across borders, broaden their perspectives, and connect their academic disciplines with the realities of a global community—preparing future professionals who can communicate, adapt, and create meaningful connections in diverse environments.
