Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. (HCCCI) reached another milestone in its pursuit of collaboration, internationalization, and academic innovation when its Academic Director, Dr. Erwin M. Faller, was presented with a Plaque of Recognition by Monash University, Australia during the MyDispense Philippines 2025 Symposium held on September 26โ27, 2025, at St. Dominic College of Asia, Bacoor, Cavite. The award recognized his significant role in the development and promotion of MyDispense in the Philippines, a virtual pharmacy simulation platform designed to provide students with authentic learning experiences in a safe and controlled digital setting.
The symposium, hosted by St. Dominic College of Asia in partnership with Monash University, HCCCI, and other academic institutions, convened pharmacists, educators, and healthcare advocates to explore new approaches in pharmacy education. It served as a platform to exchange ideas on how digital tools like MyDispense can transform pharmacy training, ensuring that learners are equipped not only with knowledge but also with the practical skills necessary for real-world practice.
As one of the partner institutions, HCCCI played an important role in advancing the use of MyDispense in the country. Under the leadership of Dr. Faller, the college contributed to discussions on technology-enhanced learning while supporting the broader goal of providing accessible and globally competitive education to Filipino students. This involvement reflects HCCCIโs enduring commitment to academic innovation and social responsibility.
The recognition also signifies the institutionโs contribution to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Strengthening pharmacy training advances good health and well-being, integrating digital learning tools promotes quality and inclusive education, fostering innovation supports resilient academic infrastructure, and building collaborations with Monash University and St. Dominic College of Asia strengthens global partnerships for sustainable development.
For HCCCI, the award presented to its Academic Director is not only an acknowledgment of individual achievement but also a validation of the institutionโs collective mission. It reflects the commitment of a growing college to remain actively engaged in global conversations on healthcare and education, working with transparency and purpose to prepare the next generation of professionals to serve both local and international communities.
