The Basic Education Department of Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. (HCCCI) officially commenced its 1st Quarter Examinations on August 18–19, 2025, marking a meaningful milestone in the academic journey of students from Kindergarten to Senior High School.
Across the campus, learners are putting their knowledge and skills to the test, showcasing what they have gained during the first quarter. More than assessing mastery of lessons, these examinations are designed to strengthen critical thinking, problem-solving, and the practical application of knowledge—reflecting HCCCI’s dedication to advancing education in line with the values of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
“Our goal is not only to test what students know but also to help them realize the value of discipline, perseverance, and continuous learning. Every examination is a step toward growth,” shared Lowel D. Pasinag, LPT, MMEM, HCCCI BED School Principal.
Teachers and staff have carefully prepared the examinations to ensure fairness, inclusivity, and alignment with curriculum standards. Each assessment integrates principles of sustainable learning—fostering responsible citizenship, global awareness, and holistic growth that prepare students to be lifelong learners and future-ready leaders.
For students, the exam days are both challenging and inspiring. Learners express a mix of excitement and determination as they tackle each subject, applying lessons learned through interactive classroom activities, group projects, and community engagement initiatives. Many students share that the process helps them discover new strengths, understand areas for improvement, and build confidence in their abilities. The campus atmosphere buzzes with energy, focus, and a shared sense of purpose, reflecting a culture that values both academic achievement and personal growth.
HCCCI emphasizes that examinations go beyond grades. They are opportunities to cultivate resilience, responsibility, and character development. Parents and guardians play a vital role as partners in education, supporting their children and fostering an environment that encourages success at home and in school.
As the first quarter concludes, HCCCI looks forward with optimism. The results of the examinations will guide teachers in tailoring instruction to meet each student’s needs, while reinforcing the school’s commitment to holistic and globally conscious education. Beyond academics, students carry forward lessons in discipline, collaboration, and sustainable thinking skills that will serve them in future quarters, higher education, and their broader contributions to society.
With preparation, determination, and purpose-driven learning, HCCCI students are ready not only to face the remaining academic challenges of the year but also to embrace opportunities for growth, leadership, and meaningful impact. All geared towards contributing to a brighter, more sustainable future for all.
