Representing HCCCI were key members of its leadership team: President Marivet S. Caballero, Executive Vice President Vanessa Marie L. Antiquin, MMEM, Academic Director Dr. Erwin M. Faller, and International Relations and Linkages Officer Jack Robin A. Lacerna, MMEM. Their participation underscores the institutionโ€™s continuing efforts to build partnerships with global institutions and industry, foster international collaborations, and bring transformative learning experiences closer to its academic community. Organized by the Commission on Higher Education โ€“ International Affairs Service (CHED-IAS) in partnership with CHED Regional Office XI, the caravan gathered higher education institutions (HEIs) across Mindanao to explore foreign scholarship opportunities, promote mobility programs, and advance capacity-building initiatives for internationalization.

HCCCIโ€™s participation in the event complements its broader internationalization strategy through its Center for Internationalization and Indigenous People (CIIP), with a vision of making global opportunities accessible even to students from far-flung communities in South Cotabato. The institutionโ€™s attendance in key platforms like the Erasmus+ Caravan forms part of its roadmap in expanding student access to foreign scholarships, internships, and future global mobility programs.

More importantly, this engagement forms part of HCCCIโ€™s preparation to open pathways for international internships and cultural in-person exchanges for its students and academic community, with hopes of formally starting by Academic Year 2025โ€“2026. These initiatives will allow HCCCI students to explore educational and cultural experiences beyond the Philippines, immersing them in global learning environments that will build their confidence, competence, and intercultural understanding.

As the global education landscape evolves, HCCCI remains committed to transforming its studentsโ€™ academic journeys by building strong international networks, cultivating future-ready graduates, and empowering communities through global partnerships and opportunities.
