The NDMU gym was electric as Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. (HCCCI) faculty and staff took the court for Game 2 of the South Cotabato Koronadal Athletic Association (SCKAA) Inter-School Faculty and Personnel Volleyball Tournament. Facing off against Marvelous College, the Holinian Cardinals didnโt just playโthey dominated.
From the first serve, HCCCI set the tone. Crisp passing, explosive attacks, and unshakable defensive walls turned every rally into a statement: this was their game to win. The Cardinals leaned not on individual stars but on a collective rhythm, a chemistry honed as much in classrooms and offices as in practice sessions.
Marvelous College tried to mount a comeback, but every surge was met with HCCCIโs relentless pressure. The Cardinals closed out the match in commanding fashion, the final point punctuated by a roar from both players and the crowd.
For HCCCI, the victory was more than a mark in the win column. It was a showcase of resilience, unity, and school prideโproof that when educators trade chalkboards for volleyball courts, they bring the same passion and precision that define their profession.
The Holinian Cardinalsโ triumph adds yet another chapter to HCCCIโs growing reputation for excellence in academics, culture, and athletics. And for the students watching from the stands, their mentorsโ performance carried a powerful message: teamwork and determination transcend every arena.
The Cardinals march on in the tournament, their eyes fixed on the next challenge. But for now, Game 2 belongs to HCCCI.
