Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. (HCCCI), in proud collaboration with our valued partner Santo Nino College Foundation, Inc. (SNCFI), is honored to co-host the International Research Conference on Languages and Community Heritage, which officially launched today at Palawan State University in Puerto Princesa City. The conference is spearheaded by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), and Santo Nino College Foundation, Inc. (SNCFI), together with Palawan State University (PSU), OCSEAN Philippines, the National Museum of the Philippines, the Provincial Government of Palawan, and Kiwanis International. It aims to deepen understanding of the vital connections between language, identity, heritage, and sustainable development. This landmark event brings together global scholars, cultural advocates, and academic institutions united in the mission to safeguard linguistic diversity and community heritage.
As a committed co-host alongside SNCFI, HCCCI plays a crucial role in advancing this international dialogueโproviding a dynamic platform where innovative ideas, research, and best practices come together to protect and celebrate cultural legacies. Our active delegation and participation reflect HCCCIโs steadfast commitment to developing graduates who are socially responsible, culturally grounded, and environmentally conscious.
Rooted in the culturally rich and ecologically diverse region of Surallah, South Cotabato, HCCCI brings a unique community-based perspective to this global conversation of academic leaders. Our strong partnership with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR-XII) on marine biodiversity and sustainable development exemplifies how we integrate environmental stewardship with cultural preservationโvalues we proudly share and promote in close collaboration with SNCFI.
Together, HCCCI and SNCFI are more than co-hostsโthey are partners united by a shared vision: empowering students, educators, and communities to protect linguistic heritage while advancing sustainable development goals at both national and global levels. This collaboration marks a significant milestone, strengthening academic ties and fostering intercultural understanding that will inspire impactful initiatives for years to come.
