Strengthening global perspectives in healthcare education, Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc., actively participated in the 1st Mindanao International Conference on Health Sciences by sending 18 pharmacy students and two faculty members to a face-to-face academic engagement held on April 20, 2026, at Avior Hotel. The conference was organized by Chulalongkorn University and University of Santo Tomas General Santos, in partnership with HCCCI and in collaboration with partner institutions in the health sciences sector.
Centered on the theme βReimagining Healthcare: Bridging Tradition and Technology through Artificial Intelligence and Sustainable Practices in the Health Sciences,β the event highlighted the growing integration of emerging technologies with established healthcare practices. It provided a meaningful venue for knowledge sharing, research presentations, and interdisciplinary discussions, showcasing developments in artificial intelligence-driven drug discovery, sustainable natural product research, and innovations in laboratory diagnostics.
The conference brought together respected academic and industry leaders, including Dir. Oliver Shane R. Dumaoal, Instr. Stephanie Lois R. Sanchez, and Dr. Danstone Guy P. Dayaday, alongside distinguished speakers Prof. Pornchai Rojjithisak of Chulalongkorn University and Prof. Agnes L. Castillo of University of Santo Tomas. Their insights and expertise created a rich learning environment and encouraged thoughtful academic exchange among participants.
