HCCCI proudly celebrates another significant international research achievement of its Academic Director, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐃𝐫. 𝐄𝐫𝐰𝐢𝐧 𝐌. 𝐅𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫,𝐑𝐏𝐡., 𝐌𝐒𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦., 𝐏𝐡𝐃𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦., 𝐏𝐡𝐃𝐄𝐋., 𝐅𝐑𝐈𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦., 𝐅𝐀𝐂𝐏, following the publication of the scholarly article “𝑹𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒘𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝑬𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒈𝒚 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏: 𝑻𝒐𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒔 𝑨𝑺𝑬𝑨𝑵 𝑬𝒒𝒖𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝑬𝒏𝒗𝒊𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔” in 𝑬𝒌𝒐𝒏𝒐𝒎𝒊 𝒅𝒂𝒏 𝑩𝒊𝒔𝒏𝒊𝒔, a 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐮𝐬-𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐱𝐞𝐝 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥. This prestigious publication reflects Prof. Faller's continuing dedication to interdisciplinary research and his commitment to addressing critical global challenges through scientific collaboration and evidence-based scholarship.

The research was undertaken through a distinguished international collaboration involving 𝐃𝐫. 𝐀𝐫𝐢𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐨 𝐒𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧 of 𝑃𝑜𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑒𝑘𝑛𝑖𝑘 𝑃𝑒𝑙𝑎𝑦𝑎𝑟𝑎𝑛 𝑆𝑢𝑟𝑎𝑏𝑎𝑦𝑎, 𝐼𝑛𝑑𝑜𝑛𝑒𝑠𝑖𝑎; 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐃𝐫. 𝐅𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫 of 𝐻𝑜𝑙𝑦 𝐶ℎ𝑖𝑙𝑑 𝐶𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑟𝑎𝑙 𝐶𝑜𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑔𝑒𝑠, 𝐼𝑛𝑐., 𝑃ℎ𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑝𝑝𝑖𝑛𝑒𝑠. This multinational partnership highlights the importance of regional cooperation in addressing pressing environmental and energy concerns across Southeast Asia.

The study examines the transition toward renewable energy within ASEAN nations and explores strategies for creating more equitable and sustainable environmental outcomes throughout the region. As countries continue to face the challenges of climate change, increasing energy demands, and environmental degradation, the transition from conventional energy sources to renewable alternatives has become a critical priority. The research provides valuable insights into how ASEAN member states can advance clean energy adoption while ensuring equitable access to resources, economic opportunities, and sustainable development benefits for their populations.

Through rigorous analysis and collaborative research, the authors emphasize the need for balanced policies that promote energy security, environmental protection, and inclusive economic growth. The study contributes to ongoing regional and global discussions on sustainable energy development, highlighting the role of renewable energy in fostering resilient economies, reducing environmental impacts, and supporting long-term societal well-being.

This publication further demonstrates Prof. Faller's expanding research portfolio beyond healthcare and education, showcasing his ability to contribute meaningfully to interdisciplinary fields that address global development concerns. His participation in an international team of researchers underscores the growing recognition of his scholarly expertise and his commitment to advancing knowledge through cross-border academic collaboration.

The significance of this publication is further amplified by its inclusion in a 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐮𝐬-𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐱𝐞𝐝 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥,  a globally recognized benchmark for research quality and academic impact. Such recognition ensures wider visibility within the international research community and contributes to the dissemination of knowledge that can inform policy, practice, and future scholarly investigations.

The research strongly aligns with several 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐆𝐨𝐚𝐥𝐬 (𝐒𝐃𝐆𝐬), particularly 𝐒𝐃𝐆 𝟕: 𝐀𝐟𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲, which promotes access to sustainable, reliable, and modern energy solutions; 𝐒𝐃𝐆 𝟏𝟑: 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, through efforts to address environmental challenges and support low-carbon development; 𝐒𝐃𝐆 𝟏𝟎: 𝐑𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬, by advocating for equitable energy access and opportunities across ASEAN communities; and 𝐒𝐃𝐆 𝟏𝟕: 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐚𝐥𝐬, as demonstrated by the international collaboration among researchers and institutions from the Philippines, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Through these contributions, the study supports regional efforts toward building a more sustainable, inclusive, and environmentally responsible future.

As Academic Director of HCCCI, Prof. Dr. Erwin M. Faller continues to exemplify academic excellence, global engagement, and research leadership. His accomplishments bring honor to the institution and serve as an inspiration to students, faculty, and fellow researchers to pursue innovative scholarship that addresses society's most pressing challenges.

The HCCCI community proudly congratulates Prof. Dr. Erwin M. Faller and his international co-authors on this remarkable achievement and for their valuable contribution to advancing sustainable development, renewable energy research, and environmental equity within the ASEAN region.
