Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. (HCCCI) continues to strengthen its research and internationalization efforts as Dr. Erwin M. Faller, Academic Director and recipient of the 2026–2027 Naveen Jindal Young Global Research Fellowship, secured three collaborative research publications for the 2026–2027 publication cycle in reputable Scopus-indexed journals during his academic engagement in India last June 26-27, 2026. The achievement reflects the College's growing commitment to fostering research excellence through meaningful international collaboration.
Working alongside researchers from partner institutions abroad, Dr. Faller contributed to the development of research studies that are set to be published in internationally recognized journals indexed in Scopus. These collaborative publications demonstrate the value of bringing together scholars from different countries to address shared academic interests, exchange expertise, and contribute to the advancement of knowledge across disciplines.
The three Scopus-indexed publications represent more than a research milestone for the institution. They highlight HCCCI's continuing efforts to cultivate a stronger research culture by creating opportunities for faculty members to engage in international scholarship and collaborative inquiry. Through these partnerships, the institution continues to broaden its academic horizons while promoting innovation, critical thinking, and evidence-based research.
Dr. Faller's participation in the Global Research Fellowship has also strengthened HCCCI's ties with international academic institutions, opening new opportunities for future collaborative studies and scholarly engagements. The experience underscores the importance of building lasting partnerships that not only enhance research productivity but also encourage the exchange of ideas, diverse perspectives, and best practices in higher education.
As HCCCI continues to expand its global academic network, achievements such as these reinforce the institution's commitment to producing research that is relevant, impactful, and responsive to both local and global challenges. They also reflect the College's vision of nurturing an academic community that values collaboration, lifelong learning, and continuous innovation.
This achievement also supports Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc.'s commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), by promoting quality research, fostering innovation, and strengthening international academic partnerships.
As these collaborations continue to grow, the institution will continue to strengthen its partnerships with international institutions by encouraging collaborative research, scholarly publications, and other academic initiatives that promote the exchange of knowledge and expertise. Through these sustained collaborations, the College seeks to create more opportunities for its faculty and researchers to engage in globally relevant research, contribute to the advancement of their respective fields, and further enrich HCCCI's growing culture of research and innovation.
