Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. (HCCCI) continues to broaden its international reach after formalizing a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with ARKA JAIN University in India, marking another milestone in the College's commitment to global education and academic collaboration. The agreement was established during Dr. Erwin M. Faller's official visit to ARKA JAIN University on June 26–27, 2026, as part of his participation in the 2026–2027 Naveen Jindal Young Global Research Fellowship.
The two-day visit provided an opportunity for both institutions to strengthen their relationship and lay the groundwork for long-term collaboration in research, academic exchanges, and other educational initiatives. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to promoting international cooperation by encouraging the exchange of knowledge, expertise, and best practices that will benefit both institutions.
One of the first initiatives under the partnership is a student exchange program that will bring 20 students from ARKA JAIN University, accompanied by university administrators, to Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. The visit will provide students from India and the Philippines with valuable opportunities to learn from one another, appreciate different cultures, and build lasting connections through academic and cultural engagement.
For the Holinian community, the exchange will offer firsthand exposure to international perspectives while strengthening intercultural understanding and global awareness. Likewise, the visiting delegation will have the opportunity to experience HCCCI's academic environment, interact with faculty and students, and gain a deeper appreciation of Filipino culture and hospitality.
The collaboration also significantly expands HCCCI's international academic network. Through ARKA JAIN University's established partnerships with more than seventy higher education institutions across India, HCCCI gains strategic opportunities to pursue broader collaborations in research, student and faculty mobility, academic innovation, and institutional development.
During the visit, Dr. Faller also met with university leaders, faculty members, and academic representatives to discuss areas of mutual interest and explore future collaborations. These engagements reinforced the shared vision of both institutions to promote innovation, research, and internationalization while creating meaningful learning experiences for students and educators.
This partnership also supports Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc.'s commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), by strengthening international collaboration, promoting inclusive learning opportunities, and building partnerships that contribute to quality education.
As this partnership continues to grow, HCCCI will continue to work closely with ARKA JAIN University in pursuing collaborative research, faculty and student exchange programs, and other academic initiatives that foster learning beyond borders. Through these shared efforts, the College hopes to create meaningful international opportunities that broaden perspectives, strengthen academic cooperation, and enrich the educational experiences of both the Holinian community and its global partners.
