The Physical Activity Towards Health and Fitness (PATHFIT) Culmination Program was held on May 13, 2026 at the Barangay Libertad Gymnasium in Surallah, South Cotabato.First-year and second-year students enrolled in Physical Education courses, together with PE faculty members and program coordinators, actively participated in the event. The program served as a culminating activity designed to showcase studentsโ€™ learning in PATHFIT 2 (Themed Dance Exercise) and PATHFIT 4 (Cheer Dance Performance), highlighting their growth in physical fitness, coordination, teamwork, discipline, creativity, and overall well-being through movement-based performances.

The program was created as a meaningful way for students to bring together everything they have learned throughout the semester in Physical Education. Through dance exercises and cheer performances, students were given the opportunity to express themselves, build confidence, work with others, and appreciate how physical activity contributes to a healthier and more active lifestyle.

The activity was facilitated by the institutionโ€™s Physical Education faculty members, including Sir Christian Kyle C. Pineda, Ma'am Maria Clarisse G. Abrao, Sir Mark Anthony Gevero, and Ma'am Louise Claudette Ducase, whose guidance and support contributed to the success of the culmination program.

The culmination featured energetic themed dance exercises under PATHFIT 2 and spirited cheer dance performances under PATHFIT 4. First-year and second-year students performed in groups, showcasing coordination, rhythm, and teamwork that reflected weeks of preparation and practice. Beyond the performances, the event also became a space for students to enjoy learning, build confidence, and strengthen their connection with their classmates through shared effort and discipline.

The program supports several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It promotes SDG 3: Good Health and Well Being by encouraging students to stay active and develop healthy lifestyle habits through physical movement. It also supports SDG 4: Quality Education by making learning more engaging and hands-on through performance-based activities. In addition, it aligns with SDG 5: Gender Equality by ensuring that all students have equal opportunities to participate and express themselves in group performances. It contributes to SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth by helping students develop important life skills such as discipline, teamwork, responsibility, and time management. Lastly, it supports SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals by strengthening collaboration between students and faculty in achieving shared learning outcomes.

Beyond the classroom, the activity encourages students to carry what they have learned into their everyday lives by valuing movement, health, and cooperation not just as part of school requirements but as habits that support overall well-being and personal growth. It also helps build a more connected and supportive school community where students feel encouraged to participate and grow together.

Faculty members expressed pride in seeing how students have improved not only in their physical performance but also in their confidence and teamwork. Students shared that the experience was both challenging and enjoyable as it allowed them to step out of their comfort zones and discover what they can achieve when they work together.

The PATHFIT Culmination reflects Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc.โ€™s strong commitment to holistic education as a steady driver of change, continuously shaping students who are not only academically prepared but also physically active, confident, and equipped with values that help them succeed beyond the classroom.
