Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. (HCCCI) proudly participated in the 4th UNISBA Global Student Motion (UGEO) 2026, providing its students with a meaningful international platform to engage in global learning, sustainable development, cultural exchange, and intercultural collaboration.

Throughout the program, HCCCI students demonstrated not only their academic knowledge but also their ability to communicate ideas, appreciate cultural diversity, and actively participate in conversations on issues that affect communities around the world.

A major highlight of the engagement was the SDG Presentation, where HCCCI students shared their perspectives on SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, and SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities. Through their presentations, the students explored the importance of accessible education, inclusive communities, equality, and sustainable development, while connecting these global goals to realities within their own communities.

The activity provided the students with an opportunity to move beyond simply learning about the SDGs and instead communicate their understanding to an international audience. Their participation demonstrated how young people can contribute to global conversations and become active advocates for sustainable development.

Another highlight was the Cultural Presentation, where the HCCCI delegation proudly showcased elements of Tboli culture and Philippine heritage through storytelling, traditional dancing, and karaoke. The presentation provided an avenue for the students to introduce the richness of their cultural identity to fellow participants from different countries.

By sharing their heritage, the HCCCI students demonstrated that internationalization extends beyond academic exchange. Culture is also a powerful bridge for understanding, friendship, and cooperation. The experience encouraged participants to appreciate cultural differences while discovering the shared values that connect communities across borders.

The HCCCI delegation also achieved recognition during the program, with the SDG 11 Group receiving the Best Group Participation Award. The recognition highlighted the group’s teamwork, enthusiasm, active engagement, and meaningful contribution throughout the activities.

Beyond the award, all participating HCCCI students received Certificates of Appreciation for their valuable participation in the 4th UGEO 2026. These recognitions reflect their active involvement and commitment to making the most of the international learning experience.

The students’ participation strongly advanced several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. SDG 4: Quality Education was supported through experiential learning, international knowledge exchange, and active student participation. SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities was reflected through discussions on inclusion, equality, and opportunities for diverse communities. SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities was highlighted through the students’ engagement with sustainable community development and their efforts to share the cultural identity of their communities. The international nature of UGEO also strengthened SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals by creating connections among students and educational institutions across countries.

For HCCCI, the experience demonstrated the value of providing students with opportunities to learn, present, collaborate, compete, and represent their communities in an international setting. The students were able to apply their knowledge while developing communication skills, cultural awareness, confidence, teamwork, and a stronger sense of global citizenship.

More importantly, their participation showed that HCCCI students can contribute meaningfully to international conversations while remaining deeply connected to their cultural roots and community identity. They carried not only the name of HCCCI but also the stories, traditions, and aspirations of the communities they represent.

Through international programs such as the 4th UGEO 2026, HCCCI continues to strengthen its commitment to developing globally competent, culturally grounded, and socially responsible learners. By connecting students with international peers and providing platforms for them to share their knowledge, culture, and ideas, HCCCI continues to bring global learning closer to its students and prepare them to become active contributors to a more inclusive, sustainable, and interconnected world.
