Looking back on their participation in the 4th UNISBA Global Student Motion (UGEO) 2026, students from Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. (HCCCI) fondly recall their outdoor activities in Pangalengan, Bandung, Indonesia, as some of the most memorable experiences of their international learning journey. More than opportunities for recreation, the activities allowed the HCCCI delegation to strengthen teamwork, communication, leadership, and friendship while learning alongside students from different countries.

The morning paintball activity brought students together in an atmosphere of excitement, strategy, and cooperation. Working in teams, participants had to communicate effectively, make quick decisions, and develop strategies to achieve their shared objectives. As the activity unfolded, students experienced firsthand the importance of trust, coordination, and teamwork, while building camaraderie with their international peers.

The afternoon rafting activity offered another memorable challenge as students worked together to navigate the river. Coordinating their movements and responding to the changing conditions required constant communication, adaptability, and mutual trust. Amid the excitement of the experience, the students also had the opportunity to appreciate the natural beauty of Pangalengan, creating lasting memories that extended beyond the formal activities of the UGEO program.

More importantly, the outdoor activities became meaningful opportunities for intercultural learning and global networking. Looking back, the shared challenges and experiences helped HCCCI students form new friendships, exchange perspectives, and gain a deeper appreciation for people from different cultural backgrounds. The experience demonstrated how meaningful connections can be built through cooperation, shared experiences, and a willingness to learn from one another.

The experience also reflected HCCCI’s commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The experiential learning gained through the activities supported SDG 4: Quality Education by developing communication, leadership, teamwork, adaptability, and problem-solving skills beyond the traditional classroom. The inclusive participation of students from diverse backgrounds contributed to SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, while the friendships and international networks established during the program advanced SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals by fostering people-to-people connections and international cooperation. As the HCCCI delegation looks back on UGEO 2026, the experience stands as a reminder that global learning can happen not only through academic discussions, but also through shared challenges, teamwork, cultural exchange, and friendship.
