Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. (HCCCI) officially strengthened its commitment to accessible and inclusive education after formally joining the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) Integrated Scholastic Program for Inclusive and Responsive Education (INSPIRE) through a ceremonial Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing held on May 21, 2026, at the Bulwagan ng Diwang Pilipino, DBP Head Office in Makati City.
Representing HCCCI during the ceremonial signing were President Ms. Marivet S. Caballero, Board of Trustee Nathaniel Caballero, Academic Director Dr. Erwin M. Faller, Finance Director Roy Victor Sumugat, CPA, and Mr. Niel Del Rosario, Chief Operating Officer of Rell and Renn Seafood Sphere, Inc., one of HCCCI’s valued industry partners.
This signed partnership will formally open new scholarship opportunities that aim to support deserving and financially challenged students, particularly those aspiring to pursue the Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy program of HCCCI’s College of Allied Health and Sciences. Through the DBP INSPIRE Program, students may now be given greater opportunities to continue their education with reduced financial burden, allowing them to focus more on their academic and professional aspirations in the healthcare field.
The ceremony was attended by key officials from DBP, including Michael O. De Jesus, President and CEO of the Development Bank of the Philippines; Atty. Emmeline C. David, Director and Chairperson of the DBP Development Advocacy Committee; and Philip G. Lo, Chairman of DBP.
More than a formal agreement, the partnership symbolizes renewed hope for future Holinian Pharmacy students who dream of becoming healthcare professionals despite financial limitations. It also reflects HCCCI’s continued efforts to build meaningful collaborations that create real opportunities for learners and strengthen pathways toward quality education, professional growth, and community impact.
The initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education by promoting equitable access to higher learning through scholarship support. It also reinforces SDG 1: No Poverty, SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals through collaborative efforts that empower students and expand educational opportunities.
Through its partnership with DBP, HCCCI continues to strengthen its mission of transforming lives through accessible, compassionate, and future-ready education.
