On May 5, 2026, Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. (HCCCI) proudly welcomed representatives from the Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC), Dr. Rhodora Angela Fernandez Ferrer, PhD, Executive Director, together with Dr. Evelyn V. Dollete, PhD, Executive Director of the Notre Dame Educational Association (NDEA), Regional Program Coordinator for Region XII and BARMM, and PEAC member. Their visit to the institution forms part of their ongoing efforts at the national level to support Basic Education Institutions within the region, such as: HCCCI, ensuring alignment with quality standards, policy directions, and continuous institutional improvement.

The purpose of the visit was to engage with HCCCIโ€™s Basic Education Department, assess current practices, and strengthen collaboration in delivering quality, accessible, and responsive education. As leaders in educational development and quality assurance, Dr. Ferrer and Dr. Dollete play vital roles in guiding institutions toward excellence, innovation, and sustainability. Their presence provided an opportunity for meaningful dialogue, sharing of best practices, and reinforcement of standards that elevate teaching and learning outcomes. The Basic Education faculty warmly welcomed the visitors, reflecting the institutionโ€™s culture of hospitality, professionalism, and shared commitment to academic excellence.

In line with this, HCCCI showcased its readiness to cater to learners through its well-established facilities, dedicated faculty, and student-centered programs within the Basic Education Department. The visit affirmed the institutionโ€™s commitment to providing a conducive learning environment that supports holistic development and future-ready competencies among students.

The activity was attended by key academic and administrative leaders, including Darrell S. Caballero, Corporate Secretary of the Board of Trustees of HCCCI; Vanessa Marie L. Antiquin, MMEM, Executive Vice President; Lowel D. Pasinag, LPT, MMEM, Basic Education Department Principal; Dr. Erwin M. Faller, Academic Director; Mark Laurence J. Fano, LPT, MALT, Director of Student Affairs and Services; Juliet C. Arellano-Castaรฑas, LPT, MAED, Director of the Center for Institutional Performance and Quality; and John Lucas R. Badie, highlighting the shared commitment to excellence and collaboration among partner institutions.

Moreover, this milestone event reflects HCCCIโ€™s alignment with key United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It strongly supports SDG 4: Quality Education by promoting inclusive and equitable learning opportunities and strengthening academic standards. It contributes to SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth by fostering education systems that prepare students with relevant skills for employment and entrepreneurship. The visit also aligns with SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, as it encourages innovation in educational practices and institutional development. Finally, it embodies SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, highlighting the importance of collaboration among institutions, leaders, and organizations in advancing shared educational objectives.ย

As the visit concluded, it left a lasting impression on the HCCCI communityโ€”one that inspires renewed commitment to excellence and opens doors to future milestones. Indeed, the presence of these esteemed education leaders marks a meaningful chapter in the institutionโ€™s journey toward growth, innovation, and transformative learning.ย
