HCCCI Empowers BSOA Students with Digital Design Skills Through DICT Canva Workshop
Students from the Bachelor of Science in Office Administration program at Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. (HCCCI) received an innovative and empowering start to their college journey as they participated in a Canva Workshop facilitated by the DICT R12 - South Cotabato Province. The session was held at the Innovation Laboratory (iLab), located on the second floor of the HCCCI main campus within LGU Surallah, as part of the schoolโs preparations for innovation-driven learning in the studentsโ upcoming COIL classes next semester.
As a Canva-powered institution, HCCCI is committed to equipping its students with industry-relevant digital skills. This workshop is a testament to that commitment, providing learners with early exposure to the powerful design platform widely used in business, education, and marketing. Students learned to create eye-catching presentations, social media content, posters, and branding materialsโkey assets in both academic and professional settings.
Beyond Canva, participants were also introduced to the basics of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its role in digital creativity and administration. This broadened their understanding of how modern tools are reshaping the workplace and underscored the importance of adaptability in todayโs tech-centric world.
The workshop was led by HCCCI continues to drive innovation in education by integrating digital tools and creative thinking into the student experience. With programs like these, the institution ensures that its learners are not only ready for the futureโbut ready to lead it.
The administration extends its heartfelt appreciation to DICT Region XII for its strong partnership and support in advancing creativity, innovation, and digital literacy. As the school year begins, HCCCI remains steadfast in its vision of preparing students to become confident, capable, and globally competitive professionals.
