Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. (HCCCI), through its International Relations and External Linkages Office, successfully concluded IZN Days 2026: Think Global Forum with a Canada-focused learning session held on July 29, 2026, at the HCCCI School Library. The third day gathered 60 students from the College of Teacher Education (CTE) and the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management (CTHM) for an engaging discussion led by Mr. Rodolfo โRudyโ Sabas, President and Founder of Wynim Educational Consulting. Through his lecture, participants gained valuable insights into Canadaโs education system, international mobility opportunities, and the academic and career pathways available to aspiring global learners.
Designed to broaden studentsโ international outlook, the final day of the forum emphasized the importance of global education, intercultural learning, and international mobility in preparing graduates for an increasingly interconnected world. The activity encouraged participants to explore opportunities beyond national borders while understanding how international experiences contribute to academic excellence, professional development, and global citizenship. The session further reflected HCCCIโs continuing commitment to internationalization by exposing its learners to globally relevant knowledge and emerging international opportunities.
As President and Founder of Wynim Educational Consulting, Mr. Sabas delivered a keynote presentation on the Canadian Education System and International Mobility Opportunities, providing participants with a comprehensive overview of Canadaโs globally recognized education system. He discussed the countryโs academic structure, internationally respected institutions, quality assurance standards, and student-centered learning environment that continue to make Canada one of the worldโs leading destinations for international education.
A major highlight of the session was the discussion on international mobility opportunities available to Filipino students. Mr. Sabas introduced participants to scholarship programs, student exchange opportunities, study pathways, internships, and potential career opportunities available in Canada. He also provided practical guidance on admission requirements, application processes, study permits, and strategies that students can begin preparing while still pursuing their degrees at HCCCI. His presentation emphasized that careful planning, academic excellence, and global competencies are essential in accessing international educational opportunities.
Recognizing the diverse academic backgrounds of the participants, Mr. Sabas contextualized his discussions for both future educators and tourism professionals. Students from the College of Teacher Education gained insights into international education systems, multicultural learning environments, and the value of developing globally competent educators capable of teaching in diverse settings. Meanwhile, students from the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management explored Canadaโs dynamic tourism and hospitality industry, learning about international service standards, cultural diversity, customer experience, and employment opportunities within one of the worldโs most competitive tourism destinations.
The program concluded with an interactive open forum, where students actively engaged with the resource speaker by asking questions regarding studying, living, and building professional careers in Canada. Discussions covered scholarship opportunities, academic qualifications, career prospects, immigration pathways, and personal preparation for international education. The exchange enabled participants to better understand the realities of global mobility while encouraging them to pursue future opportunities with confidence and purpose.
The activity likewise highlighted the continuing efforts of HCCCIโs International Relations and External Linkages Office to internationalize learning by bringing distinguished international education experts, practitioners, and industry professionals directly into the classroom. Through initiatives such as IZN Days: Think Global Forum, the institution provides students across its academic programs with meaningful opportunities to interact with global resource speakers, expand their international perspectives, and develop competencies that prepare them for success in the global academic and professional landscape.
The successful conclusion of IZN Days 2026: Think Global Forum further reinforces HCCCIโs vision of cultivating graduates who are globally competent, culturally responsive, and prepared to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world. By exposing students to international education systems, global mobility pathways, and diverse cultural perspectives, the institution continues to strengthen its commitment to producing future-ready professionals capable of contributing meaningfully both locally and internationally.
The initiative likewise advances the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education by promoting internationally relevant learning experiences and lifelong education; SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth by introducing students to global career pathways and workforce competencies; SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities by increasing awareness of scholarships and international education opportunities that expand access to global learning; and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals by strengthening HCCCIโs commitment to international collaboration and meaningful global academic partnerships.
Through the successful completion of IZN Days 2026: Think Global Forum, Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc., through its International Relations and External Linkages Office, continues to strengthen its internationalization agenda by creating transformative learning experiences that connect students with the world.
