Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. (HCCCI) continues to advance its internationalization agenda through the formalization of a strategic partnership with DSAK Group of Companies, in collaboration with Emma Ihsan Consultancy, through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in May 2026. The partnership marks a significant milestone in HCCCIโ€™s expanding network of global collaborations, creating new opportunities in international education, research, industry engagement, academic innovation, and professional development while reinforcing the Collegeโ€™s commitment to developing globally competent graduates.

The Memorandum of Understanding establishes a framework for long-term collaboration between HCCCI and DSAK Group of Companies, providing avenues for international student recruitment, faculty and student mobility, collaborative research, industry immersion, internship opportunities, academic innovation, and institutional capacity-building. By combining their expertise, resources, and international networks, both organizations aim to cultivate meaningful educational experiences, promote cross-cultural engagement, and strengthen academic and industry linkages that extend beyond national borders.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed on behalf of HCCCI by Marivet S. Caballero, President, with Dr. Erwin Martinez Faller, Academic Director, serving as witness and the institutionโ€™s authorized representative for the implementation and coordination of the partnership. Representing DSAK Group of Companies was His Excellency Datoโ€™ Sri Capt. (R.) Kamarudin Kumaravel Bin Abdullah, Founder and Chairman, while Dr. Mariam Aisha Fatima, Director of Emma Ihsan Consultancy and DSAKโ€™s authorized representative, witnessed the signing and will oversee the coordination and implementation of collaborative initiatives between the partner institutions.

Through this partnership, HCCCI students and faculty members will gain access to expanded international academic pathways, including undergraduate and postgraduate study opportunities in Malaysia, faculty and student exchange programs, industry placements, internships, collaborative research, scholarly publication support, and professional development initiatives. The collaboration also creates opportunities for curriculum enrichment, innovation-driven projects, and knowledge-sharing activities that enhance academic quality while preparing graduates to succeed in an increasingly interconnected global workforce.

Beyond academic mobility, the partnership is expected to strengthen institutional research productivity, encourage interdisciplinary collaboration, and establish sustainable linkages between academia and industry. By fostering cooperation among educators, researchers, students, and industry leaders, the initiative promotes the exchange of expertise, the development of innovative solutions, and the implementation of collaborative programs that address emerging challenges in higher education and workforce development.

The partnership advances the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, by expanding access to international learning opportunities and strengthening academic collaboration across borders. It also contributes to SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth by promoting internships, industry immersion, and employability initiatives that prepare students for global careers. Furthermore, the collaboration supports SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure through research and innovation partnerships, while advancing SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals by fostering sustainable international cooperation that drives institutional growth and educational excellence.

The Memorandum of Understanding reflects the shared vision of HCCCI, DSAK Group of Companies, and Emma Ihsan Consultancy to cultivate enduring partnerships founded on trust, innovation, and mutual growth. As HCCCI continues to strengthen its global network of academic and industry partners, the College remains steadfast in its mission to deliver transformative, globally relevant education through strategic international collaboration. By forging meaningful partnerships that connect education with industry and research, HCCCI continues to create opportunities that empower students, faculty, and researchers while reinforcing its position as a globally engaged institution committed to excellence, innovation, and sustainable development.
