Aiming to connect job seekers with meaningful employment opportunities, the Job Fair 2026 of Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. (HCCCI) brought together students, graduates, alumni, and community members in a public face-to-face engagement held on April 15, 2026, at the HCCCI Campus 1 Lobby in Surallah, South Cotabato, where the entire event took place. Conducted in partnership with the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Surallah and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) South Cotabato, the initiative catered 240 participants who were given opportunities to explore pathways toward professional growth and career development. This event was spearheaded by the Holy Child Guidance Office and the Alumni Office, underscoring the institutionโ€™s commitment to student support and graduate engagement.

The event specifically aimed to bridge job seekers toward their aspirations and opportunities, providing a space where applicants could directly connect with employers through resume submission, initial screening, and on-the-spot interviews. More than a recruitment activity, it became a venue for dialogue where industry expectations met the skills and ambitions of emerging professionals.

The event featured a diverse group of participating organizations including Abigail Farm Supply Inc., Howard Hubbard Memorial Hospital, Home Design, Army Recruitment Office Mindanao, Smart Asia International, BPI Direct BanKo Inc., MUTI Group of Companies, Holy Child Central Colleges Inc., Santo Niรฑo College Foundation Inc., New Hope School of Agriculture and Fisheries, NUTRIHOGS Corporation, GENSAN Feedmill Incorporated, Classify Incorporated, RRCS Construction and Marine Corporation, Rell and Renn Fishing Corporation, Rell and Renn Seafood Sphere Inc., and Raising Champion, each contributing to a wide spectrum of career opportunities.

At its core, the program emphasized employability, industry linkage, and workforce readiness. It allowed participants not only to present their qualifications but also to better understand the evolving demands of various sectors, reinforcing the importance of aligning education with real-world practice.

Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the initiative supported SDG 1 No Poverty, SDG 4 Quality Education, SDG 8 Decent Work and Economic Growth, SDG 10 Reduced Inequalities, and SDG 17 Partnerships for the Goals. By expanding access to employment, strengthening the connection between learning and livelihood, promoting inclusive participation, and fostering collaboration among institutions, the program contributed to broader development efforts.

Through the combined efforts of Holy Child Central Colleges Inc., PESO Surallah, DOLE South Cotabato, academic institutions, government agencies, and private companies, the job fair strengthened pathways toward economic participation. It created a meaningful exchange where individuals gained access to career opportunities while organizations discovered potential talent, resulting in mutual growth and sustained development.

Participants expressed a sense of hope and renewed confidence as they navigated the event. For many, the experience went beyond job seeking and affirmed their readiness to step into professional roles while highlighting that opportunities become more attainable when institutions actively create spaces like this.

In sustaining efforts like this, HCCCI reinforces its role as a catalyst for growth, shaping individuals who are not only career-ready but also socially responsiveโ€”individuals prepared to contribute meaningfully to the communities they serve.
